Frequently Asked Questions

Is coaching therapy?

  • No. Coaching is separate from therapy. Though I have a Master’s degree in Counseling I am not a licensed therapist or counselor. Coaching can be incredibly helpful to reaching goals and can lead to a more fulfilling life, it is not therapy. I have coached many people who are also in some sort of therapy.

If I need therapy, can you refer me to a therapist?

  • If during the coaching engagement we determine that therapy is a good course of action I can definitely help you find a good therapist.

How long will I need coaching?

  • This all depends. I offer packages that are 13 weeks in duration because it give us a decent amount of time to get you on your way to goal manifestation. I have several clients who started off with the package and are still clients today. I have others who worked through the 13 weeks and felt complete. Life is a funny thing and what is great about coaching is that it is always helpful for goals big & small.

How quickly will I see results?

  • Again, this all depends on you! I like to say that you drive the car. Your goals and the actions needed to reach your goals can take time. Some goals are reached more quickly. If you have more complex goals that require significant planning and action then it will take more time. If you just need help planning a project it may require less time.

Is my coaching experience confidential?

  • Absolutely. I honor your confidentiality by not sharing any of your information. In certain cases I can be compelled through legal means to divulge information but this is rare and has never happened in my practice.

Do you take insurance?

  • No. Coaching is not covered under insurance as far as I know. I WILL always work with a person committed to making change in their lives so please reach out for information about rates and maybe we can work something out to make coaching affordable for you.
